Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE) was declared as Deemed-to-be-University by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) on the advice of UGC in Dec 2008. NICHE offers various programs such as BE, B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, B.Com M.B.A , M.C.A, M.Sc and MA, M.Phil and Ph.D in Science, Engineering, Technology and Management disciplines. The University is accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC.

NOORUL ISLAM EDUCATIONAL TRUST
Noorul Islam Educational Trust has completed 64 years of service in Education, which was established by Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan. The rare of credit of establishing the first technical institute (Industrial Training Institute) in 1955 in the State of Kerala belongs to Noorul Islam Educational Trust. This institution was established with the noble aim of uplifting the educationally downtrodden rural population in and around the District. The Trust owns and administers 17 Educational and other institutions which also include Noorul Islam University Accredited with “A” grade by NAAC.

Noorul Islam College of Dental Science was established under the aegis of Noorul Islam Educational Trust, founded by Dr.A.P Majeed Khan, a man renowned for his farsighted vision in the field of education in the year 2006 with an annual intake of 50 students. The Noorul Islam College of Dental Sciences was started with the objective of providing quality dental education to the students to enable them to manage and treat dental patients independently and also to provide state of the art treatment facilities. 

  Department of Biomedical Science and Technology was established in the year of 2009, with active clinical/industry partnership in association with our sister institution NIMS Medicity and Research Foundation, Neyyattinkara. Since then, the department has been actively engaged in diversified research and teaching.

NIMS college of Nursing has been credited for “putting patients first” and following moto “Love to serve”. NIMS College of Nursing started functioning in the year 2009 with an annual intake of 40 B.Sc Nursing students with consistent high standards of excellence aimed by the institution in accordance with Chairman Dr. A.P Majeed khan and Managing Director Mr. Faizal khan, carefully selected teaching faculty faculty with meritorious accomplishments, we have started post graduate degree programme (M.Sc Nursing) in the branch of Medical Surgical Nursing (cardio thoracic) Affiliation
